If you are looking for a great movie that really makes you think than you should rent or buy the movie "What The Bleep Do We Know". I’m amazed with all of the stuff on their website. There truly is a fire that has been flamed by the movie.
Here is the synopsis of the film from Net Flix "The neurological processes and "quantum uncertainty" of life are
explored in this film. Thrust from her mundane life into an Alice in
Wonderland-like world, Amanda (Marlee Matlin) must develop a brand-new
perception of the world and the people she interacts with. Interviews
with various experts are interspersed throughout the film, which
combines narrative, documentary and animation. "
Here is part of a review from Amazon.com. "Whether you agree with the ideas presented in the movie is not the
point. If individuals at least contemplate an alternative
perspective-then this movie will have succeeded. What the Bleep Do We
Know!? doesn’t tell you what to think, but simply offers ideas and
theories for your consideration. At the very least, it opens up a
dialogue between people. And, perhaps, if people start talking to one
another-especially about concepts like reality, God, spirituality,
choice, and human potential-there will be enough cracks in individual
and collective assumptions to make way for ideas never before
considered as possible."
For me the film was a breath of fresh air. I felt like so many
others that I have talked to who said that finally someone made a film
about things I have been somehow intuitively felt to be true. It is a
film that generated a lot of conversation with my business partner Jeff
and within my family and friends. There has been some criticism about
the film having a biased point of view. Others have questioned whether
the statements made by some of the scientists are true. They miss the
point. Who knows what is true. The question is , as I have stated
before, does it feel right to you. Does it make sense to you?
One thing I do know is that those people drawn to asking the kind of
questions that are poised in this movie are the kind of people that i
have the most success in working with on the Better Way to Work
program.
