My business partner Jeff and I love to speak about the work we do. We have developed some presentations that have received the highest marks, in excess of 95% approval, from participants. We do this by actively involving the audience in the presentation. Some of the talks include “The 7 Entrepreneurial Skills for Financial Planners”, “The Power of Stories and Vision Stories” and “Finding your Better Way to Live and Work.” We have also developed a 2 day seminar called “Vision Stories” that has been delivered across the country.
If you would like a dynamic keynote speaker, please let me know. Our highest dream is to partner with groups and associations that want to offer our work to their members.
Here are three case studies of speeches.
We talked to 250 financial planners in Denver Colorado. Our presentation was the last one of the day and a free cocktail party began in the middle of our talk. Not one planner left and over 50 stayed after the presentation to continue the dialog we had begun. On the survey forms they asked the question, “Would you want these presenters to give another talk at an FPA event. 98.9% said yes.
Here is a comment from the conference host.
Jeff and George,
I want to thank you for an excellent workshop at the FPA Denver 2004 conference. You two really got the group thinking, talking, and …most importantly…changing. At the end of your session, two Advisors stopped me to say how pleased they were and one more grabbed me by the lapels to say yours was the “best session of the conference.” That’s high praise and you should feel very good about the response. I also looked through the yellow evaluation forms and it was virtually unanimous….highest marks for content and delivery.
From my perspective, you guys get the “Sleeper Award.” I just wasn’t expecting such a fine job, or such good acceptance by the planners. Congratulations.
If you ever want to use me as a reference or want a more formal letter confirming these comments, please let me know. I will be recommending your services to Advisors around the country and hope that it makes a difference in your firm’s success.
Thank you, again!

In January 2006 I gave a 90 minute presentation to the Minnesota Coaches Association on The Power of Story and Vision Stories. On the evaluation forms the 60 participants were asked the overall rating between 1-10 for the presentation. 96% gave it at least an 8 with 40% giving it a 10.
Here is a comment from the Professional Development Director and comments from participants.
Hello again, George
You may have already heard this from Paula, but I want to thank you again for the wonderful job you did for MCA Tuesday night. I am attaching a summary of the evaluations, and as you will see, your presentation was a big hit! You really did make Paula and I look good, and for that – and for your wisdom and insights – we are most grateful.

Here are some replies to the question “What was the gem you got from this presentation?”
- This “seminar” was good in that it was an activity that involved us (not just talking at us) – so “gem” is to always make it personal, relevant, involve the “end user
- The power of story – telling it first and then writing (to vision) – very effective. The fun of telling my ten-year vision as if it’s true and seeing my partner believe it – not knowing otherwise! Helped me believe it can actually happen!
- The importance of creating vision through story and how FUN it is!
- A sense of urgency helps a person shift.
- Importance of vision! Also, actual speaking and writing my own vision uncovered more feedback from the universe – bottom line – I got reinforcement and clarity on my previous vision.

Hi George..thanks for coming to our CNT meeting in Monticello last Friday!
You provided an informative, helpful and invigorating presentation. The men were buzzing during the interactive portion and the session you did with Ken Beaudry was enlightening and helpful to not only Ken ..but all of us!
I think you will have some follow-up from some of the men. We will have to talk about you coming back and doing Part 2. The men really appreciated and benefited from your being with us.
May God continue to Bless and use you as you are partnering up with the Lord in using your multiple gifts!
You have definitely found your niche!
Blessings,
Dick Nelson
